“We kicked off the year by sending every incoming intern a WSB-branded keychain and reusable tote bag as a winter welcome gift to celebrate their acceptance and build excitement before day one. Since January, we've kept momentum going with touchpoints every four weeks, sharing onboarding reminders, background requirements, and our year-end review. To foster community before the internship even begins, interns were invited to a GroupMe and encouraged to connect with one another on LinkedIn, turning a cohort of individuals into a connected group from the start.”

“We're proud that the connections formed through our mentorship program don't end when the internship does. Our mentors are a carefully selected group of leaders dedicated to the growth and development of our cohort and many interns remain in contact with their mentors today, regardless of whether they joined us full-time after completing their internship. That lasting impact speaks to the genuine relationships our mentors invest in building, and it's a reflection of the culture we strive to create for every intern who comes through our program.”

This organization had one of the top internship to full-time conversion rates among their peers.
“Our internship is intentionally designed to feel less like a temporary role and more like the start of a career. Interns are placed on real client projects by leaders who are strategic about team fit and growth potential. When interns return, they rejoin the same team, picking up where they left off and deepening the relationships they built. Many also have the opportunity to continue part-time throughout the school year, keeping their momentum alive. This continuity makes the transition to full-time feel natural, because for many of our interns, it already is.”
